Means of Invention is an electronic product design service that specializes in the development of portable, networked, battery powered products for commercial manufacture.

We are proud to design and develop products that make people’s lives better. Products that save energy and resources, that give people more control over their lives, or promote personal freedom, or even just create enjoyment.

We are based in Sydney, Australia and work on a collaborative model in cooperation with other businesses and sole traders.

Why

Because now the means of production is available to rent by anyone with a credit card, it’s important to have something worth producing.

Who

The company was created by Julian Higginson, an electronics and firmware design engineer with more than 15 years of experience designing electronic products for commercial manufacture and sale worldwide.
