I just saw this marketing video today streamline-and-standardize-your-documentation-process and I’m very excited.
It looks like finally Altium is taking their process that makes quick, repeatable, and reliable manufacturing file releases, and applying it to basic design documentation. This is huge, as while it’s critical to easily and reliably release your actual manufacturing files to manufacture without errors or omissions, the work around documenting the changes could be not only fiddly and prone to error, but really really boring and slow.
It’s so exciting, that if this is only even half as good as I hope it’ll still be my favourite addition to Altium since the outjob feature was created.
